What is the mission of Jolt Youth Initiative?

To cultivate communities where young people’s hidden potential is unlocked through self-efficacy, empowering them to be active contributors to individual and societal development.

Why focus on self-efficacy?

Self-efficacy fuels belief in one’s ability to create change. We nurture it so youth can translate potential into real action.

What is your goal for 2028?

By 2028, empower at least 80% of youth aged 15–24 in Mpigi, Butambala, and surrounding districts with knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes for success.

What areas do you work in?

Education, health, entrepreneurship, gender equity, leadership, peace and conflict resolution, technology & innovation, climate action, and mentorship.

Where do you operate?

Mpigi, Butambala, Masaka, with headquarters in Kampala and a field office in Mpigi District.

Can youth take on leadership roles?

Yes. We offer leadership training, mentorship, and opportunities for youth to lead projects and initiatives.
